Heavy Crude Oil Production

- Highly viscous, extra-heavy crude oil is creating flow challenges.

- API gravity of 7° to 8°
- Viscosity: 115,000 to 120,000 Cps@ 40o C
Process:
- Downhole injection and/or applied in conjunction with steam injection, as well as injection into pipelines and flow stations
Results:
- API gravity increased to 17°
- Viscosity reduction of 60%
